Begin each Shift by telling yourself:

Today I will face the Dark Reality of Inbound Call Center Abuse, physical threats, Sexual harassment, demeaning, and derogatory remarks.

The offenders are like this because they do not know the difference between good and EVIL.

And That is Really OK!!

I don't need to spiral & lose control when a call gets nasty

I know when I start my shift, there will be some resistance.
Things will get hard That is OK.

That is OK. I am going to welcome it and work through it!

I am going to focus on what I control and only what I control.

I can't control everything, BUT I can control how I react.
What I can control are: My Attitude, My Choices, My Actions
What I can't control: Other People, Their Past, Everything outside of me.

Let me take action on what I can control, release what I cannot, and finish the call on a convivial note.

I am not my thoughts, I am the thinker among them.

Ergo, I am in control of my thoughts. Therefore:

I will not engage in the callers' drama
